Our project estimates are provided free of charge in most cases, as are our initial consultation sessions, whether at your home, place of business or our showroom.

There are many factors involved with pricing out a remodeling or new build project. These factors include costing raw materials, the desired level of finish, access to the construction site, scheduling, etc. We have a great deal of experience with these factors and our initial free consultation will involve finding answers we need to be able to zero in on building a project that meets your budget requirements and exceeds your expectations.

Our initial free consultation typically lasts 1 to 2 hours.
There are three primary issues to discuss:

1. What you are trying to achieve?
2. What is your timetable?
3. What is your budget?

This will usually involve a walk-through and review of the areas of the home to be remodeled plus a series of questions designed to establish your vision and goals for the project. You'll probably have a handful of important questions for us which can be addressed at this time as well.

A permit will be required if structural alterations are required or if the general living area of the home is changed. This is true for bathroom design, a kitchen makeover, or other remodeling service and the details depend largely on your State and City regulations.

Yes – Milan Design + Build, Inc. is a licensed company carrying liability and workers’ compensation insurance.

We'll work closely with you to establish a timeline and scheduling plan that organizes the project with minimal disruption to your household activities. Access required will vary with the type of work being done and the overall project scope. We understand how disruptive home construction can be and we're committed to staying sensitive to your family's needs throughout the project.

Yes. Construction is noisy. We will give you advance notice throughout all major phases of the project enabling you to plan accordingly.

Yes, we'll happily provide you a list of past customers and the type of projects we have completed for them. Each reference provided has agreed to be contacted.
